Our raw alpaca fiber is sourced from both Peru and US alpaca farms. 

Alpaca is our fiber of choice because it is one of the softest, warmest, and most durable fibers available. 

It is lightweight and comes in a plentiful assortment of natural colors. 

Unlike wool, alpaca has hypoallergenic qualities that make it ideal for those who have sensitive skin.

Cleaning Alpaca Instructions

Handwashing Instructions: Using cold or lukewarm water soak the product with a mild shampoo or gentle detergent. Gently squeeze the product to clean. Then roll up in a towel to remove excess water and lay flat to dry.

Do not use hot water. Do not agitate, rub, twist, or wring out the product. Do not use heavy detergent or bleach. Do not dry in direct sunlight.

Matchine Washing Instructions: Only matchine wash on wool setting at low water temperature with mild detergents.
